Past few days

My last entry was last Thurday. Friday joe forgot about children's Art lesson and I had to rush out with Channery after receiving Joe's call cause I thought the class was cancelled. We were not that late and children had a lot of fun. They tried using the wheel to do their pottery. They were dirty but truly happy to be able to use the wheel to create their pottery. We had dinner at home as I did not want to spend so much money. I had overspent my allowance by buying a pie maker ( $14.90) and a waffle maker (29.90). These two products were easy to use and end poducts very satisfactory. Children enjoyed their homemade pies and waffle.

Saturday we had waffle for breakfast and after lunch, the children went for their chinese lesson. They had tests and the boys both had 94% and we were really surprised at their results. Anyway, looking at the paper, my sons' standard really worries me. Must think of ways to help them to improve. They did not even do so well for P1 standard. Charlynn had 80% and she was really sad about it. She is really a very self-motivated learner and I do not have to worry about her studies.


Sunday we stayed in and did not go out as Joe and children had caught the flu virus. Chantz had high fever and not advisable to travel. I made them go shopping with me and they grumbled a lot.


Monday Channery caught a cold or the flu virus and she had cough and runny nose. She is still trying to recover from her cold. Been busy trying to clear up the mess at home but not so successful. After that, we had minced pies for dinner as children did not fancy rice and dishes. They had two pies each.

Tuesday I made an effort to clean up as I was really sick of all the mess. quite pleased with the end result of house so clean and tidy. However as ususal, the kids came back and to my horror the house messy again. Chantz came back screaming and shouting and said that he wanted me to fetch him from school. He cooled down after a while in his own room. W had fried chicken wings and curry chicken plus mixed vegetables.

Today I will try to cook lasagne and Assam fish. Joe did not go to school today as Channery cried and clung on to him this morning. Think he did not do much today.
