Yesterday we managed to find the seats for my mil and Wei yi and they will be going back tomorrow. Their flight is 12 plus so we have to send them to the airport at 9 plus. They will reach singapore at 5 plus and so they will have no problem going home by taxi. The ladies seem happy to go home. Mum in law was saying she could not sleep yesterday night as it was freezing. Turned out the temperature last night was rather low. Some areas as low as 6 Degrees. She should have turned on the heater but instead she chose to wear clothes. Funny that she won't use the heater since we have taught her how to do so.
This morning we decided to bring them around Sydney for the last time so after sending the kids off, we drove off to city. I was very angry with Joe as he was sititng at the back and I had a hard time trying to catch up with his instructions since he was not able to see clearly. I was really angry that I had to make a turn or change lane so abruptly. Driving like that is suicide and I lost my temper. when we reached Hay Market, we went to the IGA there and found the nuggets. They are actually more expensive than a stall down at the Hay market but we bought from IGA as they have first hour free parking if u spent $30. We ended up buying about $100 plus. The 1 kg and 500g packs at the Hay MArket only $26 and $14 only whereas IGA is selling them at $28.60 and $17.50 respectively. The 500g pack has a nicer packaging though. Wei Yi and MIL bought other souveniers and we headed off to the Fish MArket. LAst time we went there the parking was quite steep but this time we stayed within 1 hour so only paid $3. We also tasted 4 baked oysters while waiting for our take away orders of Fish and chips with salad. Wei Yi bought a half Lobster Set which cost $14.90. We had the take away food at a park near the Gap. There was a fisherman's fish and chip and the business was really brisk. The food was definitely more expensive than what we bought at Sydney Fish MArket.
After Lunch we strolled up to the Gap and the scenery was really magnificent. However, after driving to Bondi, I realized why Bondi beach was the most beautiful beach in Sydney. The weather was so nice and the scenery is breath taking. We continued our drive to Bonte Beach, then to Coogee beach.
We drove back to fetch the kids and then we went for their Art lesson. Jen taught them how to make a volcano with torch light. Really fun I think. While they had their lesson, we went to MArrickville MEtro to shop for the gifts my MIL promised the children. We spent $70 getting the gifts. When the boys saw their gifts, Charles immediately threw a fit and we were really annoyed with him. the other two kids were okay but he was simply very ungrateful. In the end, we came back and asked for home delivery instead of visiting a restaurant.
Now the children are watching Simpsons and they have not done their Chinese Class work. Today is simply a tiring and busy day for me.
