Careless mum

Yesterday evening the children and I had the first experience of hailstones. The hailstones hit the zinc roof of my bins shelter and made a thud thud thud sound. I went out to check and realized it was raining with hailstones. told the kids the sky is raining ice cubes and they ran to see it. Yes the size is rather small not the ping pong size reported in Blue Mountain. It's about the size of marbles. Interesting to see the hailstones bouncing off the ground. We were really excited of seeing hailstones fir te first time. At night we watched a documentary half tree half man and it was really scary to see the man covered with Warts. Doctor's examination said that his white blood cell was low so his body was unable to fight the disease. He was in a freak show in order to earn some money to support his family. His fingernails seems like plant and his body was covered with black plant-like spots. His other peforming troupe members were also having some form of skin dsorders. Can you imagine bubbles on body? That was the condition of bubble man and long nose man with face deformed. none of them said die or give up. They all wanna live and support themselves.

This morning I woke up to prepare Sushi for kids and we were running late. Children were sick of sandwiches even though they have different ingrdients in the bread. Sometimes being housewife can be demoralizing as kids can be really unkind in their comments. They love the school canteen food and ready snacks from the supermarket. Have tried to incorporate those in their lunch box but they still quite choosy.

After sending kids to school I came back with Channery. Channery had so many things that I needed to hold on her story book, her bottle, he bag that my hands gave way and she fell to the floor while getting out the car. Not very high but enough for her to cry her eyes out. She could not stop crying and that made me very angry. I scolded her but actually I was mad with myself for not holding her properly. A check on her injuries and she had bruises on her ears and behind the ears. So much for being a mother. She was okay from my observation.Now she is sleeping soundly on the sofa. We had sushi, vegetable sausage rice for lunch just now. She even had a whole bottle of apple juice. Seems like she was okay.

Now watching the show Rose Red. Scary but enjoyable.
