Whole week of absence

Many of u are complaining that I have not written for a whole week. I was not motivated to write anything as the computer kept skipping and the cursor kept going to the wrong place. Frustrated with the lousy keypad. The other computer just suddenly shut down.

Tuesday Our minister of transport came for a learning tour with Joe's boss and Joe came back at 11 pm. Children were alright and we ended up sleeping at 10.30pm. children were quite cooperative and Chantz did his homework for the week.

Wednesday Charlynn had netball so Joe brought her and Charles to school early at 8am. Chantz slept in and I had to send him to school. They had lunch in school and they loved it. Night time I helped Charlynn to complete a poster for her class. They were going to raise funds via 3 legged race.

Thursday Joe was at home as the children's school is celebrating its 100th years old birthday - centenary celebration. Joe sent children to school and then sent us to Woolworths Supermarket as he was going to send the car for checkup. The $25 checkup is a must to renew our car insurance and took only 10 mins. Wondered if the checkup was done properly. after that we went to children's school. The children were told to dress up as famous Australian and they had a costume parade. There were many games and food stalls. I like the "Decorate your cupcake" stall as children loved the sweet treat. Fun and nice to eat. The other stalls are pinning the tail on the dog, rolling the hoola hoop etc. Children had a lot of fun and they enjoyed spending their own pocket money. We came back for lunch and baby and I dozed off. Joe picked up children at 3pm and it was so relaxing with Joe around.

Friday was normal school days for children. The kids proudly put on the centenary badges which they received the day before. They simply felt so proud to be part of the school 100th yr old celebration. I told Joe to meet us after school as I was going to send the faulty blender back to BIG W. We got the blender changed and went back happily. We had blended celery soup using the blender and other dishes. After dinner we made cereal cookies and children helped out. They had big spoonfuls of the mixture and the cookies ended up qite gigantic. Will do it againw he children in school as the cleaning up is quite a hassle. Charles had spanking from Joe as he refused to do his Chinese class homework. He deserved the spanking as he was really rude. He even said he was going to kill everyone before killing himself. Quite a loser's attitude. He really is a heartache for us.

Today we woke up early as children had Art lesson at 11am. Charles still refused to do his homework initialy and after my persuasion, he finally agreed to do it. Managed to complete his work on time for his Art lesson. Somehow must learn how to handle his tantrums. He is the typical middle child symptoms.

We had Subway for Lunch again. Children loved the sandwich. After that we went to their school as there was program on. There were school tours, lion dance, korean dance, recorder performance, arabic dance and so on. We had gelato- ice cream cones and they cost $2.50 each. I asked Charlynn to buy food from her teacher. We rushed off to their Chinese Class at 1.45pm and after that we headed backt o school as they had a raffle draw. I decided to buy 5 more tickets as the raffle draw was to raise funds for school. Guess what, the prizes went to 3 students and 1 staff.

Children are coming back soon. Tonight we will have pork chop and vegetables with radish soup. Back to cooking now....
