Keep in Contact

Checking my email and found Puay Hwa's email asking of I was awared that Yoke Sim's husband passed away. I am really glad that she took the effort to inform me. Everyone in Chongfu are so busy and happy to know that there's one person who has not forgotten about me. Ai Ling and Yet Wah are busy so lately that they hardly have time to write. the last time I received a mail was that afternoon which they informed me of the sad news. That is understood as Chinese New year jsut round corner and Term 1 is simply a mad period of the year. After replying to Puay Hwa's email, I decided to call Yoke Sim but can't get through. With the calling card, the calling expenses is not much. Will try to find time to call my loved ones as I am always so preoccupied in keeping the house clean and children out of mischiefs that I have no time for emails or calls. Maybe to surprise them by calling them is a great way to keep in touch.

Mum asking me to visit them on the2nd day we reach Singapore. well1 that was what we wanted to do. We only reached Singapore about 4 plus on 9th Feb after which we will have our reunion dinner with my mother in law. It's been nearly 2 months since we are living apart. She is coping well and enjoying her life. Happy for her as the children are simply tying her down and she felt obligated to look after them. With free time and no more responsibility, she can enjoy her golden years. Her siblings and friends are looking out for her. She will be having reunion dinner at her brother's place. Sometimes having options is good rather that you feel trapped and miserable. She was thrown to play the role of caregivers for my children one after another after my father in law's demise. Now she is having her life back and that's great. Here in Sydney we are able to do our parenting and caregivers' roles properly and that is great for us too. We are learning everyday and improving as well. Not perfect but that is life. Actually just 20 years down the road we will be grandparents as well!

As for now the life in Campsie has been rather blissful. We are looking forward to seeing our loved ones in Singapore and catching the good food there. For those who wanna contact us, do email to the singnet acc or just reply to our blog. We will definitely get back to you all k.
