Rest and relax day

Today all of us woke up at 9am as yesterday night there was a storm and weather very good to sleep in. Charlynn and I prepared pancakes for the family. It's really easy as we use a microwave pancake dish so there was no mess. 2 mins and you get 4 pancakes easily. The pancake mix is easy as we just add a little bit of water and shake it up and it's done in just a few mins. We usually eat the pancakes with butter and honey. Really yummy actually.

After that, we watched half an hour cartoon and off we go to Jen's house. Today children going to colour their mug before Jen send for 2nd burning the kiln. Children have such fun when they were at Jen's place and Joe and I get to relax by shopping around the area. Today we decided to go to the reverse garbage. Australia has a lot of second hand stuff. We bought children's clothes at $1 per piece and a coffee table at $10. Today we are here to get some mulch so that we can spread it in our garden. Mulch is the shredded trees parts and it is free here. We can prevent weeds growing and retain the soil. Interesting as I am never so green ( environmentally friendly) in Singapore.

After that, we decided to lunch at a Thai restaurant. Lunch is $7 and we order 4 different dishes. Guess what we could not finish the food. We had Singapore noodle, a special thai noodles, green curry with rice and Egg plant with pork with white rice. We enjoyed the food and it only cost us $28. Then we are off to shop at the supermarket next door. Bought a lot of things and the msot expensive of all is the chicken breast at $19.60. I thought it was $10.90 and ended up paying so much. The total cost for groceries is $59.

Back at home, we quickly get to work. Joe and children bring in the rubbish bin and hang up the laundry while I clean the baby for she has soiled herself. She can go pass urine herself but she still does not know how to pass motion herself. Need some training and we believe she will be able to do it soon. Children wanted to eat ice-cream which they bought yesterday. The icecream truck comes every 2 weeks and my kids love to choose their icecream. Joe and I decided to get the children to pay for the icecream and so we got $3 from them. They are now rewarded for completing chores so we must help them to spend the money. Good to be able to buy the things they like.

We are going out again later tot he hardware shop Bunnings as we need to buy some gardening things there. Alright that's all for today.
