Happiness is fate

Life is full of surprises and we won't know what will await at the corner. An entry in facebook from Hui Li and we realized today some years back is a special day for them. Found out from Joe Keen they are actually celebrating the day they met. That's definitely a day to celebrate. Imagine meeting so many people in our lives and that special someone catches our eye on that special day. Being able to find someone to share our lives together is so wonderful.

The old rural couple travelled many miles to go to the city as the wife wanted to eat her favourite fried dough/Shao1 bing3. Old grandpa was so determined to bring her as he does not know how many more days they have to enjoy the little pleasures of life. Old Grandma is unable to walk easily due to old age but his husband helped her along. Finding someone who loved you and willing to go that extra mile for you is not easy. Old grandpa said his wife has sacrificed a lot for him and this little act is nothing compared to what he has been receiving from his wife over the years of marrige.

Meeting someone special means we must constantly count our blessings! Being able to grow old together and share the many things along the way is such a wonderful experience!
