Hide and Seek

Yesterday night, my three younger children were playing hide and seek and my youngest one really made my day. She is so cute as she is still so innocent and does not know how to play the game well. She was laughing under the blanket and making wabes, hiding among the towels and showing her buttocks and making small noises to indicate where she was hiding.

To her, it is such a fun game even though she has problems locating her siblings. she ran about and had a lot of fun. Joe, me and Charlynn stayed in the living room and we really enjoyed watching the kids at play.

Children grow up so quickly and before long they will leave their childhood behind. I remembered having so much fun when I was young. Playing with my siblings and our relationship is really strong. Now we are adults and we somehow drifted. I don't feel so close to them now as they seem to have so many things to handle in their lives. Now we are really playing hide and seek real life version I guess. I have the feeling physically we are so close during gatherings yet so far emotionally. Nobody sharing their thoughts and feelings with one another anymore.

Sad that siblings will grow apart and become strangers when they grow up....
